Schools in Abu Dhabi

Doe anyone have any information on schools in abu dhabi? Where are best schools for european children, fees, curriculum etc... Any help would be great?

Family Status in Middle East

Personally I am working for a company who have not given me Family Status. If I had known 2 years ago what I know now I would not have came to work in the middle east without family status. Of all the Irish People working in the Middle East who has Family Status and what kind of package should be expected?

I started this blog months ago and never came back to it, and no one else did either!!! I am hoping that the millions of Irish who are away from home will see this and get involved. My aim is to have a blog where help is available, friends are made and questions are answered.

IRISH EXPATS

I left Ireland one year ago because I could not find a job there and with a wife and four young children I really had little choice. I moved to the Middle East and to a country called The Sultanate of Oman. Like many people forced to leave home I arrived here very very green. Over the past year I have learned a lot about expat life, good, bad and indifferent. When it comes to Oman I would like to think that I have some bits of knowledge and advice to offer the hundreds of people now leaving Ireland every week to work abroad.
I am hoping that other expats will have similar bits of knowledge to offer from there adopted countries, and that the will offer this information in this blog.
